Rules

The event rules and regulations will be added for all event types in the near future.

AKSA Age Categories

The AKSA policty on events dictates that the competition season runs from 1st July to 30th June each year. The age categories are defined as:

• Junior - 16 & Under as of 1st July
• Youth - 18 & Under as of 1st July
• Open Mens - Any age
• Open Womens - Any age
• Master - 35 & Over as of 1st July
• Legend - 45 & Over as of 1st July

These categories are deemed to be the standard for any event held within Australia by associations affiliated iwth, or run in conjuction with the Australia Kitesurfing Association.

The minmum requirements based on the number of entrants and type of event, are as follows:

• Youth - includes Junior & Youth age categories
• Open - any age and sex
• Master - includes Master & Leged age categories

National Championships Residential Requirement

To compete in National Champioships, AKSA members must be Australian citizens or permenant residents. Evidence of a permanent residency VISA may be required before entering the competition.
